What’s your story?

We are looking for people to share their faith & life testimonies of how God has been moving in their life for an upcoming sermon series in September entitled “His Story – My Story”.  God uses our stories everyday to make a difference.  If you’d like to share your story please post it here on our blog, or contact Jennifer Walker in the church office!

Well all of my life I had been brought up with God by my mom. However, up until just last year when I started attending Central Christian, did I take my faith seriously. I mean, I thought that God was out there, but I didn’t really take to heart what the Bible said. It was during CIY MOVE that I started really reading the Bible and absorbing everything it told me. Chuck Gaj saved me during MOVE by baptizing me. I saw in his eyes at that moment that nothing else mattered to him, that it was so important that I was being baptized. Then I thought, how much greater the love of God! How much love God has shown to Chuck.

It just shows how influential people can be in your life, and how in the beginning God influenced them through His Word. I’m now a very strong Christian and totally in love with my God.

I was born of Jewish blood from my father’s side. I followed the holidays and traditions of my Jewish heritige. I always knew there was a God but never had a personnal relationship with him. Thats when my parents started goin to Central. They were baptized shortly after when i was considering getting baptized I thought it was something i had to do becuase my parents did it. After speaking with Miss Daun a few times on the subject, my father baptized me. It was like the world opened up I saw new lights, new sounds, and a new meaning but didnt know what that meaning was. It took a while before i finally realized at my first CIY that God called me to the ministry. I am still young and still dont know where God will take me but i know that where ever it is I will have God, My family, and My friends for support
